Seoul Institute of the Arts presents CultureHub Convergence Project XR Performance - 3 aXis Live 'Invisible Touch'

3 aXis Live 'Invisible Touch' is the final presentation of the Convergence Project selected by the Contents One Campus 2021 of KOCCA [Korea Creative Content Agency]. Led by SeoulArts professors Joowon Koh and Bosul Kim, 15 SeoulArts students participated in the development of the project with the cooperation of Live Lab, VA Corp, and Mofac, which specializes in XR. The performance utilizes the recently introduced XR technology to create a real-time virtual space with 100% Unreal Engine in the three-sided LED XR studio. Humans and human-looking avatars, the mystery of humans and biological structures, and the concept of heterogeneous combination of nature (reality) and artificiality (virtual) are explored and merged in a 360-degree space. This is an unprecedented convergence performance through technologies such as motion capture, real-time streaming, and AR.
